Law Firm Assists in Screening Unaccompanied Minor Children

On Saturday, January 17, 2015, the Law Offices of Doroshow, Pasquale, in cooperation with La Esperanza and Delaware Volunteer Legal Service Corp, did a screening of twenty unaccompanied minor children living in the Millsboro area. The screening was done out of our Millsboro office. Special thanks to Alex Fajardo and Jennifer Ellsworth-Aults of our Elsmere office for making the 100-mile trek to Millsboro to help with the screenings. Also, special thanks to Vanessa Walters and Brenda Hernandez who also attended and were a great help. We are grateful to the entire Millsboro staff for helping set the office up for the screening: at one point we had 10 interviews going on at once in different offices. Now, Delaware Volunteer Legal Services will take these files and  find volunteer lawyers in Wilmington to help these kids with their specific immigration needs. It was a good day.
